‘Tea Towel Amnesty’ - a 1950’s themed photocall with a mock protest to encourage people to get rid of their old tea towels (the majority of the estimated 500 million tea towels in Britain are reckoned to be more than five years old). Anyone who took part received a free tea towel from Cargo.

‘Cargo Christmas Fairies’ – a fancy dress competition judged by the local Mayor which encouraged customers to visit the store in fairy outfits. The five 'best-dressed-fairies' were awarded Cargo vouchers.

Shoe Express - ‘Anniversary of the High Heel’

Shoe Express created Britain’s highest pair of high heels – an astonishing 12 inches – to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the first pair created by Leonardo Da Vinci in 1507. The account handler modelled them on Oxford Street.
